Proibito Rubare plot

The young priest Don Pietri is about to board the ship and travel to Africa, where he will work as a missionary. At that moment his luggage is stolen in Naples. In search of his suitcases, he gets to know the misery and poverty of Neapolitan street life. The city still bears the scars of the war, and Don Pietro is introduced to the street boys and children abandoned by their families, who have to live on theft. He decides to stay and set up a home for abandoned children, where they can receive an education. The beginning is difficult, but then he receives a huge gift from an anonymous benefactor. On the day of the opening, Don Pietro is arrested, because the money from the donation appears to have been stolen by one of the children.
