Pionery-geroi plot

Olga, Katya and Andrey live in Moscow and are school friends. Like all rural people, they come to the capital to find happiness. As adults, the three friends have to come to terms with life in Moscow. There is no room for grand ideas, for feelings and high aspirations. Dreams of heroic deeds are exchanged for dreams of stability. They try to live 'like everyone else', but that gives them neither happiness nor satisfaction.
