"Alcohol won't freeze"

Synnøve seems to have it all: a good job, a great apartment and a friend who is making a career. But behind this facade, she is lonely and unhappy and her relationship is not as perfect as it seems. Her life has come to a crossroads. One evening, in a desperate state, she decides to leave her boyfriend and her job in Oslo. Synnøve embarks on a long journey to the north of the country, to the Troms region where she grew up. She has to go to find herself again. But does she dare to do what it takes?
