Past Perfect plot

After a tragedy, the relationship between Charlotte and Cecil is very strained. They barely talk to each other anymore, and if they do, it's purely to deal with the mundane aspects of their lives. In particular their current project to convert the extra room into an office. Their relationship has always been a bit turbulent, ever since they met two years ago. That was already seated in seats 3A and 3C on the plane, during a domestic flight from Halifax to Vancouver. Despite the fact that they were both not really having a good time at the time - Cecil had just broken up with his partner Bernadette, while Charlotte ran away from a relationship over the internet that went wrong - they managed to turn their initial dislike for each other into a relationship. . They now have to find the spark they once found sitting in seats 3A and 3C.
