In order to increase economic productivity, the government imposes a new measure on the elderly population. They must move to a remote colony so that the younger workers no longer have to look after them. 77-year-old Tereza does not consider following the government in this. She undertakes a journey through the Amazon, after which her life changes forever.

The plot description suggests there's much more to this film than there actually is. If you're expecting dystopian sci-fi (as IMDb states), you'll likely be disappointed.
A film with no clear goal, a lack of momentum (of the opposite kind, mind you), and an annoyingly repetitive soundtrack near the end. Also, 4:3 for no good reason (half the cinema screen is unused).
The subtitles were unnecessarily fragmented, resulting in a cluttered viewing experience. There were many short sentences that could have been combined.
On a more positive note: beautiful colours and cinematography during the intro and final act.
No, this was not a success for me.
