Nora Helmer plot

Nora Helmer keeps asking her husband, the banker Torvald, money to not only give the children an unforgettable Christmas, but also to be able to live her life in luxury. When Torvald becomes ill, she borrows money from the shady family friend Krogstad to keep her husband from losing face. She forges her father's signature to do this, after which Krogstad blackmails her, so that she has to take refuge with her vulnerable friend Linde.
