Mój Nikifor plot

Nikifor Krynicki was a Polish painter who was accidentally discovered by another painter, Marian Włosiński, in 1960. Włosiński, himself academically trained, is at first annoyed by the old vagabond Krynicki, but later intrigued by his primitive and pure work. He gives Krynicki a place in his studio and points out Krynicki's special work to the cultural authorities. Włosiński hardly even pays any attention to his own work anymore and tries to realize a large presentation of Krynicki's work.
