"Two aging friends battle for the affections of one's maid."
Given their character, the 60-year-olds Léonce (Noiret) and Potier (Bouqet) are each other's opposites. They become rivals when a woman (Rahouadj) comes into play. In their game for the woman's favor, both men feel that old age has struck.
