Very sweet heartfelt movie.

To be fair, the film is carried by Hoffman and Thompson. Boy what a good acting they say, especially Thompson plays very believable. I'm just finishing adolescence but really enjoyed the movie. I love that the characters are quite well developed, from both protagonists you get a piece of past in an unforced way so that you can really empathize.

The romance between Kate and Harvey has its cliché moments, of course, but it never gets annoying. I wouldn't call it Rom COM either, I found the film a lot heavier than the average lighthearted rom-coms. A little more to the drama side.

Kudos to the lead actors.

3.5*

Melo, sentimental, etc... but still beautiful and with aspects from the reality of life and yet with a number of handsome actors, including Liane Balaban.

A nothing that is conventional, or rather clichéd in every fiber, yet for some reason does not become a monstrosity. The obvious explanation for this can be found in the acting mastodons who give appearances here, but there is more. Possibly it has to do with the fact that a person now and then wants to hang back to eat an easy viewer, the director is aware of this, and therefore just does what awaits him. You must in any case deny the director that the work has pretentiousness.
