Koirankynnen Leikkaaja plot

Mertsi, a soldier, sustains severe brain damage during World War II. After the war he starts a nomadic life, looking for easy work. But he remains constantly dependent on others. One of his colleagues tells him about his dog, who always suffers from nails that are too long. When he takes on an overworked job as a woodcutter in the winter, he begins to daydream. The image of the needy dog does not let go of him.
