King Lear plot

Lear is an aging king who ponders his three daughters' succession to the throne. He asks them which of the three loves him the most. His two selfish daughters then try to get along with him, while the only daughter who really loves him, Cordelia, refuses to play this silly game. In a fit of rage, Lear rejects Cordelia as the other two sisters slowly drive their father to despair.
