Kholodnoe Solntse plot

The pediatrician Elena Kelchevskaya plans to go to Austria with her husband. During the trip to the airport, the couple witnesses a terrible accident. Until the ambulance arrives, Elena and an unfamiliar young man named Klim are the only ones who can help the injured occupants. Once at the airport, Elena gets a call that her mother is dying. Caught between duty and desire, she decides to let her husband go to Austria on his own. Meanwhile Elena's mother is buried and she is alone in Moscow. She is still married, but rarely reads and does not answer the letters her husband writes from Austria. The introduction to Klim really brightens her up and she falls madly in love with him. Although she is a lot older, Klim is a professional thief and womanizer; nothing can stop her from starting a relationship with him.
