Very cool!
I had expected a somewhat different type of film. A bit shoddy with basic sci-fi elements to make it somewhat "different," but fortunately, Karmalink doesn't fall into that trap. The beginning is mainly a fun kids' adventure, but as the cast digs deeper and deeper, the sci-fi elements become increasingly clear.
Resulting in some maximalist scenes. Visually worthwhile, the actors also do a good job despite having little experience, and I quite liked the mix of genres. Not a typical film; hopefully, this isn't the end of it for Wachtel.
4.0* and an extensive review
