Johanna plot

This variation on the story of Joan of Arc is set in a dilapidated Hungarian hospital. After a traffic accident, the pill addict Johanna ends up in the hospital and falls into a coma. Her life is feared, but against all odds she awakens and recovers completely. Johanna discovers that she has the gift of healing other patients by offering them her body. One of the doctors sees something in the girl and offers her a job as a nurse. The patients are overjoyed with Johanna and her healing powers, but when she repeatedly rejects the doctor's advances, he turns the entire staff against her.
