Inu to Watashi no 10 no Yakusoku plot
A 12-year-old girl named Akari gets a puppy she calls "Socks". She loves the dog very much and spends practically all her time with him. As she gets older she can spend less and less time with him, she moves and leaves Socks with a friend. At one point she is reminded of the promises she made to the dog.
