Kappa no Ku to Natsu Yasumi plot
Koichi Uehara is a fourth-year student living in a suburb of Tokyo. One day he picks up a large rock and when he turns it over it turns out to be a fossil of a baby that has been 'sleeping' in the underground for 300 years and he calls it 'Coo'. Koichi and Coo become good friends and they live together with his family. However, Coo finds it very difficult to get used to modern life in Tokyo and he starts to miss his own family very much. On a hot summer day, Coo and Koichi decide to set out on an adventurous journey to find his equals.
