Teacher and ghostwriter Luciano is offered to work as a referent for Minister Botero in Rome and takes this offer with both hands. Initially Luciano is very happy with his new home, his red sports car and the job for his girlfriend, but gradually he becomes more and more aware of the evil deeds of the power-hungry Botero.
