"The story of a woman who was completely faithful... to two men"
The bricklayer Oreste meets the flower seller Adelaide during a political demonstration. He decides to leave his wife for her. Everything seems to be going well until they go to a pizzeria for dinner and Adelaide is given a heart-shaped pizza, complimented by young pizza chef Nello. Nello wins her heart and Oreste goes mad with jealousy.
