How Harry Became a Tree plot

Ireland, 1924. Harry lost his favorite son in the war and his wife then dies of grief. There remains only Gus, his youngest son. Harry is very introverted and comes to the absurd conclusion that only hate can give his life any meaning. So he chooses an enemy, George, Skillet's most powerful man. Based on the story 'Lao Dan' by Zengguang Yang.
