Het Wonder van Máxima plot

The Miracle of Máxima takes place on February 1 and 2, 2002. Maria Castillo and her daughter Isabella have sold their meager possessions in Argentina to witness the miracle that will take place when Máxima marries the Dutch Crown Prince. On the day of her own wedding, Maria's husband disappeared without a trace and since then she expects to see him again one day. Getting caught up in the Amsterdam party crowd, however, mother and daughter lose each other at night. Security agent Felix Bos takes care of the distraught Maria and with that a hectic search begins. But Felix himself is also in a major crisis. His Asian girlfriend Min is in danger of being deported after years of unsuccessfully trying to obtain a residence permit. On the day before the royal wedding, the aliens police are at the door...
