Hessed Mufla plot
“Amazing Grace” is the story of two gay Israeli men and their families during the AIDS crisis. Jonathan is alone again after leaving his older lover, who enjoyed hanging out with other men a little too much. Thomas, the son of his neighbors and a real loner, is back from New York where he tried to make it as a musician but instead developed an all-consuming addiction. Jonathan falls in love with Thomas and around them their families undergo their separate yet connected everyday trials: Jonathan's family wonders what the future holds for him and Thomas' grandmother hates getting older.
