Guadalupe plot
A pair of scientists are shocked in their faith while studying a sacred relic. Jose Maria and his sister Mercedes are archaeologists tasked with investigating the legend of the Lady of Guadalupe. Juan Diego, an ordinary man who lived near the hill of Tepeyac, saw in December of the year 1531 an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who urged him to build a church on that site. The bishop was quite skeptical of his story and demanded proof. Maria appeared before Juan again and urged him to collect a bouquet of winter roses and give it to the bishop. When the latter received the gift, the petals fell on his apron and took the form of an iconic portrait of the Blessed Virgin. Jose and Mercedes are excited to determine how much of this story is reality and what was fiction. But when they dig deeper into the mystery, they find out things they hadn't expected at all.
