Freiheit plot
Nora is a woman who, without saying anything, leaves her husband and her children. She walks through a museum in Vienna, has sex with a young man and hitchhikes to Bratislava. Nora hides her identity by telling small lies. She changes her appearance, finds a job as a chambermaid and befriends the young Slovak stripper Etela and her husband Tamás, a cook. Meanwhile, Nora's husband Philip tries to manage his family, his job and his affair with Monika in Berlin. Against his own convictions, he must defend a racist teenager in court.
