Frankie plot
Three generations of a European family come together in Portugal's legendary city of Sintra for one last vacation before the family's matriarch faces the next and final chapter of her life. Over the course of a clear October day, the fairytale setting brings out everyone's most romantic impulses. A successful actress, Francoise "Frankie" Cremont, has a secret plan: to marry Paul, her eternally single son, to Ilene, an American hairstylist she befriended while shooting a movie in New York.
