Flesh and Blood plot

Mark Webber explores family dynamics and captures his real-life family and real-life situations, blurring the line between story and documentary. Mark is released from prison and returns home to his mother and teenage brother in Philadelphia. He tries to rebuild his life, but this is complicated by his struggles with his sobriety, his strained relationship with his activist mother and the neglect of his brother with Asperger's syndrome. It quickly becomes apparent that the relationships within the dysfunctional family are not only broken, but may be irreparable.
