A young psychiatrist (Peter Falk) struggles to get through to a rather aggressive patient. He asks his mentor (Sidney Poitier) for advice. He tells him the story where he found himself in a similar situation. At the time, he had to deal with a very violent Nazi sympathizer (Bobby Darin).
