Erinnerungen eines Waldes plot

Frieda must complete her dissertation before the end of the summer, after which she has been promised a prestigious position at the University of Vienna. However, the sudden death of her beloved grandmother forces her to return to the small village in Lower Austria where she grew up, and where – unlike Frieda – not much has changed. And, as the famous saying goes: there is no going back home.
