Biography of Héctor Abad Gómez; a prominent doctor and freedom activist in violent Medellin in the 1970s. A family man who was proud of his children but also fought for the underprivileged in society. After the death of his daughter from cancer, he fought against the criminal and corrupt political situation in his country.
