Dying in Plain Sight plot

Morgan Cruz is in high school and is overweight. Kim, Morgan's mother, leaves her husband because he cheated. Kim then changes her lifestyle and tries to eat as healthily as possible. Kim is completely absorbed in her new obsession and does not notice that Morgan is barely eating anymore. Morgan receives compliments for losing weight, but at the same time is confronted with the unpleasant side of her eating disorder.
