Dr. Hope plot
"If we don't, who will?" Under this motto, the doctor Lehmann Hope Bridges Adams (1855-1916) fought during her lifetime against the authoritarian, anti-social society of the Empire. She fought and became the first woman to pass in Leipzig, in the state examination for 'doctor of medicine and gynaecology'. She married free-thinking doctor Otto Walther and wrote a revolutionary health guide for the time. When she was infected with tuberculosis, this had no inhibitory effect on her dynamism, on the contrary...
