Die Lebenslüge plot

One day the sculptress Sophie Brückner is robbed of the happiness in her life. Her husband was involved in a fatal car accident in Mallorca. But when she travels to the island, it turns out that her husband was not alone in the car: Michael's wife also died with him. This secret affair came as a great shock to the mourners. However, the communal suffering and the heat of the Spanish island ensure that the widow and the widower come closer together. For daughter Anne, however, this feels like betrayal...
