The story of eighteen-year-old college student Jason Moss and his relationship with serial killer John Wayne Gacy. Jason seems to have a normal life; he lives at home with his parents, has a girlfriend, goes to school and is always looking for new challenges. For a school assignment, he sends a carefully written letter to serial killer John Gacy, who is in prison, pretending to be a vulnerable boy. Gacy, suspicious of this, puts Jason through several emotional tests, over the phone and letters, before confiding in him. What follows is a deranged psychological game of cat-and-mouse, which turns Jason's life upside down.
