De Angst van Zorg plot

Zorg, a sensitive boy with a sharp eye, sees how his father is struck by a heart attack. He wants to go to the hospital but is not allowed. Together with the neighbor, an eighty-year-old widow to whom Zorg attributes magical powers, he realizes that his father's demanding boss is to blame for all the misery. To punish the chef, they put him a meal of dead rats, maggots, potting soil, vinegar and stomach tablets.
