Joanna Crane is a sportswear designer. To get rid of the stress, she works as a prostitute, named China Blue. In this role, she is harassed by a fanatical priest, who wants to save her from the sinful life. He himself is an avid peep show visitor.

Must have been ages since I last saw this movie. Coincidentally, they're airing it again on MGM and I watched it briefly. The movie isn't really that great but I thought the role of the late Anthony Perkins as a deranged priest was pretty good. Great how he watches one of those striptease shows in the beginning and then snorts like an idiot 
Kathleen Turner did a pretty good job too and she looked beautiful.

Reasonable film about a mysterious woman who works as a prostitute at night and as a fashion designer during the day. The main characters are certainly interesting, but apart from a few moments they are somewhat superficially developed. It sometimes feels a bit fragmented, and the scenes with the married couple are by far the best. A good 3.0 stars for this undoubtedly controversial film at the time.
