Code Blue plot
On the shadowy border between life and death is the hospital where Marian, an ascetic nurse in her forties, devotes herself as a saint to the seriously ill and dying. She gives them the last human contact and sometimes she even takes on the role of savior and frees her patients from their suffering. These moments are precious to Marian – for her dying is a moment of ultimate intimacy. Outside the hospital, Marian lives a lonely life, driven by perfectionism and control. Nevertheless, her repressed feelings occasionally surface and disrupt her daily routine.
