Buried Treasure plot

Harry Jenkins, golf club president, entrepreneur and widower has a beautiful life. A large house in Wilmslow, a successful business where he can regularly play golf and many friends. When he returns from the golf club one morning, he sees the police at his front door. They have news about his daughter who had been out of contact with her father for nine years. The police come to report that his daughter Annie has died in a car accident. Harry is surprised to learn that Annie lived only ten miles from him. An even bigger shock awaits him at social services. There he meets an eight-year-old black girl with a sports bag. This turns out to be his granddaughter Saffron.
