Beth is a lonely and isolated woman in Los Angeles who suffers from advanced chronic Lyme disease. She's at the end of her rope when a global pandemic and advancing wildfires make her already complicated and stressful prognosis that much more dire. As Beth's doctor forces her to confront the traumas and demons of her past to reduce her dangerously high inflammation levels, she meets a mysterious man via video chat. An unlikely romance ensues.
