Blessed Stranger: After Flight 111 plot

A mother loses her daughter in a plane crash near Nova Scotia on September 2, 1998. All 229 people on board were killed (215 passengers and 14 crew members). The mother decides to travel to the island in the hopes of finding answers to questions she doesn't even understand herself. One of the fishermen who was present at the failed rescue is also still traumatized. Together they try to process their grief.
