Blackbird plot

In the autumn of 1977, fifteen-year-old Motte must learn to cope with the news that his best friend Bogi is in hospital with a life-threatening illness. At the same time, he is overwhelmed by his first love, his parents' divorce, his fascination with Bowie and football, and the pain of not being able to share any of this with Bogi. As a result, he begins to avoid the hospital more and more often, while struggling with guilt and loss.
