Bez Strakha plot

1929. A Bolshevik officer was nursed by a young Uzbek woman, after which he married her. As the village manager, he is asked by the authorities in Tashkent to ask the local women to take off their veils and chador. However, this is not mandatory. His wife refuses to take off her veil. A 14-year-old girl is the first to take off her veil. The villagers are furious.
