One night, Dickson's bank is robbed of $100,000. The suspect, Matt Brown, is an ex-con who had appointed Dickson as chief cashier. Brown refuses to reveal where he was that night, even though he has two witnesses to confirm his alibi, Mrs. Dickson and his colleague Cyril Cluett.
