"Life after death."
The near future. When Amelia Summerland suffers an aneurysm, she becomes bedridden and dies a slow death. Her husband, the police officer Carter, is looking for a way to fix her up. He is approached by Wesley Enterprises with the suggestion of using Amelia as a test subject in an experiment where her mind is placed in a new, artificial body. In desperation, Carter agrees. The only question that remains is whether Amelia Summerland will still exist after the experiment.
