Abandoned and Deceived plot

Gerri (Lori Loughlin), an Ohio divorcee, can no longer tolerate her husband's refusal to pay alimony and hide from her. She cannot claim child benefit and decides to place an appeal in the newspaper to women who are in the same boat. The resulting process produced some interesting contemporary child support laws.
