Who Is Dayani Cristal? plot
Opening image of this documentary: the lifeless body of an unknown man in the Arizona desert. An illegal alien who, like so many others, died in the heat (during the day) or freezing cold (at night) of the desert in the face of the “American dream”. He has no papers, but the words “Dayani Cristal” are tattooed on his chest. The forensic investigation in the US is trying to determine the identity of the man. At the same time we visit a family in a village in Honduras, where the man apparently comes from.
