Vergiss Meyn Nicht plot
In 2018, climate activists occupied the Hambach forest in western Germany, which energy company RWE planned to cut down to expand the nearby lignite mine. It quickly became a symbol of resistance to politics and business. During a police clearance of the forest, a film student, Steffen Meyn, had a fatal accident. He had filmed the events at the location for more than two years, until he fell from one of the treehouses and died. The film consists of footage of Steffen Meyn. One gets to know the activists who are willing to risk their lives to protect the environment.
