Tijd om te Sterven plot

At a time when you seem to be able to decide how you want to die, Girardot shows the bare reality surrounding a deathbed. And thus asks the question: do we allow each other the time to simply die? We closely follow five people in their final phase. With personal attention, tailor-made care and in a homely environment. In the scarce time they have left, the guests experience that there is more than just the disease. They often bloom, with death not far away. One is getting married and enjoying a last croquette, another is celebrating his 50th birthday and 'taking another bite of life'. Of course there are tears and struggles, but the guests and their families take the time to be there for each other in the last part of their lives.
