The Snowman plot
"A lost father. A 30 year old conspiracy. A daughter's journey to uncover the truth."
Jimmy Graham was a Scotsman who emigrated to Australia in the 1970s with his wife and two small children. A smart, kind man, with a passion for mountaineering, ice and snow. When he gets the chance to teach survival techniques in Antarctica in 1978, he grabs it with both hands. Three months later, Jimmy returns earlier than intended. He is suddenly completely unrecognizable to his surroundings. He is paranoid and exhibits disturbed behavior. Normal contact with him is no longer possible. The marriage is on the rocks, Jimmy leads a nomadic and alcoholic life and his children don't see him anymore. Thirty years later, his daughter contacts him again and tries to find out what exactly happened in Antarctica. This serves as a starting point for Jimmy's story that he accidentally stumbled upon American secrets and was subsequently given a chemical lobotomy by the CIA.
