The Game of Their Lives plot

"The greatest shock in World Cup history"

At the 1966 FIFA World Cup in England, the North Koreans stunned the rest of the world with a rapid and overwhelming advance. Suddenly those little Asians turned out to be a formidable opponent for the western 'giants'. The team was never heard from again after the tournament, until the British film crew of 'The Game of their Lives' suddenly got permission to film the former team in North Korea after four years of negotiations. Also filmed at the home front in Middlesbrough, which hosted the North Koreans in 1966. 35 years later, these football heroes have not been forgotten for a long time...
