Park Avenue: Money, Power and the American Dream plot
"How much inequality is too much?"
Of the total American wealth, 42.7% benefits only 1% of the people. Of America's richest people, 1% live on Park Avenue in New York City. "Park Avenue" raises the rhetorical question of whether a child born on Park Avenue in the Bronx could ever make it to Park Avenue in Manhattan. 740 Park Avenue to be precise: an apartment complex where only billionaires reside. While one in seven Americans depends on food stamps, America's 400 richest people accumulate more income than the poorest half of the country - 150 million people - combined.
