The Dhamma Brothers plot

Central to this documentary is the Donaldson Correctional Facility, a prison in Besemer, Alabama, in the deep, deeply Christian south of the United States. It is one of the worst prisons in the country and holds 500 inmates. It is precisely here that the management decided in 2002 on a very daring experiment. They offer some of the toughest inmates a Vipassana meditation workshop.
